ANCILLARY 2

The length of the Wonga advert is 00:41 and is a company that offers short-term loans.
They use a very catchy jingle in the majority of this radio advert because it is well known by the audience so they can recognise the company that is being advertised.
There is dialogue at the end of the advert but not much of it as it is a well established business so people already know what wonga.com is about. However the dialogue tells the people who may not know about it.

The vintage pepsi- cola advert uses a technique which is still very successful with todays modern adverts. This is a catchy song with the brand name inside it. This was and still is extremely successful because it is catchy and therefore gets inside of your head, for example the well known go compare advert where it is known for people to mute the channel every time it is on as the song is both funny but annoying. This is a brilliant way to get a brand recognition and will also influence the readers.
